Can You Get Shingles On Your Arms Should I Tell My Professors I Have Shingles?

Should I tell my professors I have shingles? - can you get shingles on your arms

I just discovered that I have shingles yesterday in the arm. The bumps have appeared only two days. So far, I was very tired and exacerbated the pain. However, do not want to fall behind in my classes, and I think it can still exist if the pain does not worsen. I told my teacher anyway?

Yes

If you develop shingles, avoid close contact with people until after the rash blisters have healed. It is particularly important to establish contact with people who are particularly at risk prevent chickenpox or shingles, such as to:

1. Pregnant women, infants, children, or who has never chickenpox.
2. Any person who is ill.
3. Who with a weakened immune system is unable to fight infection (HIV) infection or diabetes.

You can help prevent the spread if sores receives the shingles with a kind of clothing, the liquid to cover and protect the wound,

They hate all those with the virus. Your teacher will understand, but you may need a note from doc.

Do you still contagious? If so, do not go. Speak with your teacher did, you know that you have a medical certificate as soon as possible, and get notes and tasks from his friends - who has already had chickenpox or been vaccinated.
